Marolo Grappa di Moscato

Grappa di Moscato is the most immediately aromatic expression in Marolo’s classic range. Distilled from fresh Moscato d’Asti pomace, it preserves the grape’s natural perfume while remaining completely dry, clear and precise.

Since 1977, Marolo has worked from Alba with the idea that grappa should express the identity of the original grape rather than become a neutral spirit. Fresh pomace is distilled in small batches through discontinuous bain-marie stills, a gentle method that helps retain the most delicate varietal aromas.

The spirit rests in stainless steel tanks, with no wood ageing. This keeps the profile transparent and allows Moscato to remain the central voice, without vanilla, toast or sweetness from oak.

In the glass, it is crystal clear. The nose is intensely fragrant, with orange blossom, rose, fresh grapes, white peach, lychee and citrus peel. On the palate, it is smooth but dry, with floral lift, ripe fruit and a clean, aromatic finish.
