A more personal way to buy wine.

We started Bricchi & Barrett because we wanted a wine shop that felt a little more personal.

Not hundreds of bottles added simply to make the range look bigger. Not a list shaped around whatever happens to be easiest to sell. Instead, we wanted a focused collection of wines we genuinely want to drink, cellar and share.

With more than 30 years of experience in wine, our approach is simple: work with producers we rate highly, choose bottles with character and a clear sense of identity, and make it easier to find wines that are genuinely worth opening.

That means every bottle at Bricchi & Barrett is there for a reason.

We are drawn to producers who work carefully, understand their vineyards and make wines that speak clearly of where they come from. Some are established names with generations of history behind them. Others are smaller growers doing things in their own distinctive way. What matters to us is not reputation for reputation's sake, but the quality, personality and integrity of what is in the bottle.

Our collection stretches across Italy, France and Australia, bringing together producers such as Occhipinti, Foradori, Radikon, La Stoppa, Frank Cornelissen, Elio Altare, Ochota Barrels and Standish, alongside French names such as Domaine du Coulet and Château de Beaucastel. From established domaines and celebrated estates to smaller growers and emerging producers, we seek out wines with a strong sense of place, character and provenance — including bottles we believe deserve a little more attention.

There is no single style we are trying to champion.

You will find everyday bottles that are simply a pleasure to drink, wines with the structure to spend a few years in the cellar, mature releases that are already showing beautifully, and the occasional magnum or small allocation that may not come around again for some time.

That mix is part of what makes wine interesting.

We like the bottle you can open over dinner without thinking twice about it just as much as the one you have been saving for years. We like discovering a producer we have never tasted before, revisiting the great names and finding older vintages that show what time can do to a wine.

What we are not trying to do is have the biggest range possible.

We would rather keep the selection tight, know the wines we offer and make every bottle earn its place. For us, good curation is more useful than endless choice.

Ultimately, Bricchi & Barrett is about sharing wines we believe in.

Wines from growers and winemakers who care about their vineyards. Wines with a story, a place and a point of view. Wines to open tonight, bottles to put away, and the occasional special release that makes you glad you found it when you did.

A considered collection, chosen personally — and always with a reason to be there.
