2024 Fontanabianca Langhe Nebbiolo

Fontanabianca’s Langhe Nebbiolo comes from Neive, in the territory of Barbaresco, where clay-limestone soils give Nebbiolo perfume, freshness and fine structure. Made from younger estate vines, it offers a more immediate expression of the grape than Barbaresco, while keeping the elegance and savoury detail that define the Langhe.

Made from 100% Nebbiolo, the wine is traditionally vinified and refined in large oak for 6 months. The style is fresh, floral and precise, shaped to preserve Nebbiolo’s aromatic lift and natural tannic frame without adding excess weight.

In the glass, it shows a bright ruby red colour with light garnet reflections. The nose is delicate and expressive, with violet, red cherry, raspberry, wild strawberry, dried herbs and a subtle spice note. On the palate, it is fresh and youthful, with fine tannins, bright acidity and a clean, savoury finish.

Perfect with vitello tonnato, tajarin, salumi, roasted poultry, mushrooms, white meats and medium-aged cheeses.
