2023 Villa Barcaroli Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

There is a reason why Montepulciano from Abruzzo has become so popular with Australian palates. It is delicious dark fruit and gentle rusticity make it very easy to like and it has a Shiraz like fruit profile and palate weight. that people can identify with. Villa Barcaroli’s 2022 comes from the Teramo area, between the villages of Controguerra and Ancarano, capturing a highly drinkable style.

Made from 100% Montepulciano. The nose is full and inviting, with red cherry, plum and blackberry.  On the palate, it is ripe, full bodied, round texture with smooth tannins to finish. Full of character and fun, this is great value for money and won't break the bank.
