2007 Radikon '3781' Ribolla Gialla 1L

Sale price$460.00

Ribolla 3781 is Radikon at its most rare and monumental. Produced only in exceptional years, the name refers to the parcel number from which the best Ribolla Gialla grapes are selected — a single-vineyard expression from Oslavia, on the Friulian-Slovenian border. The 2008 vintage, released in 500ml format, represents one of the estate’s most ambitious long-aged wines.

Made from 100% Ribolla Gialla, the wine spends 2–3 months on the skins, followed by 4 years in oak barrels and at least 10 years in bottle before release. This long, patient ageing gives the wine extraordinary depth, structure, and stability, while preserving Radikon’s unmistakable identity: amber colour, tannic grip, oxidative complexity, and mineral tension.

In the glass, it shows a deep amber-gold colour. The nose is intense and layered, with notes of dried apricot, orange peel, quince, honey, tea, dried herbs and spice. On the palate, it is dense, tactile, and powerful, with firm phenolic structure, vibrant acidity, and a very long, evolving finish that moves between fruit, spice, and salt.

This is not simply an orange wine, but one of Radikon’s most profound bottlings: rare, mature, structured, and gastronomic, with the 1L format adding even more presence at the table.

Perfect with aged cheeses, rich poultry dishes, pork, mushrooms and truffle preparations.
