2023 Poderi del Paradiso Chianti Colli Senesi

San Gimignano is better known for its towers and the iconic Vernaccia, but its surrounding hills also give Sangiovese a generous, sunlit Tuscan character. Poderi del Paradiso’s Chianti Colli Senesi 2023 captures that familiar warmth: ripe red fruit, gentle spice and the easy rhythm of a wine made for the table.

Fermentation and maceration take place in rotovinificatore for 3–4 days at controlled temperature, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine then matures in 20hl barrels and second-use barrels for 8–12 months, adding roundness and savory depth while keeping the fruit clear and approachable.

In the glass, it shows a bright ruby red colour. The nose is open and inviting, with red cherry, raspberry, plum, violet, sweet spice and a touch of tobacco. On the palate, it is harmonious and fruit-driven, with fresh acidity, light tannic grip and a rounded, persistent finish.

A classic Chianti Colli Senesi: generous, balanced and unmistakably Tuscan, with enough structure for food and enough charm for everyday drinking.

Perfect with tomato-based pasta, pizza, grilled meats, roast chicken, salumi, pecorino and simple Tuscan dishes.
