Only select parcels in Ampeleia's Vigna dell’Asino were chosen for this Cabernet Franc: those with the youngest vines and the most mineral-rich terrain. These unique conditions allow the 2024 vintage to express the pure essence of the fruit, vibrant, sincere, and unmistakably varietal.

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby color. The nose opens with an energetic bell pepper note, seamlessly integrated with bright, fresh red fruit. On the palate, the wine is expressive and balanced, with persistent mineral notes from the unique Galestro soil on the finish that invite another sip. Medium-bodied leaning on the heavier side, yet lively, it demonstrates the character and potential of Cabernet Franc in Tuscany.

Vinified with 15% whole bunch and aged for 10 months in cement vats, this wine preserves freshness while gaining texture and depth. Only 8,000 bottles were produced, reflecting the careful selection and attention to detail that define Ampeleia’s approach.
