2020 I Fabbri Chianti Classico Riserva

From the high hills of Lamole, Susanna Grassi continues delivering great wines: from 100% Sangiovese Grosso sourced from old vines from the smallest UGA in Chianti, one where altitude enhances freshness, structure, and aromatic precision. Aged for 12 months in 500L French oak barrels from the Massif Central, it combines varietal purity with a refined and integrated oak influence.

In the glass, it shows an intense ruby red color. The nose is broad and persistent, with classic notes of red fruits, delicate floral nuances, and subtle hints of oak. On the palate, it is harmonious and structured, with depth and balance, where fruit and oak integrate seamlessly into a long, elegant finish.

Ideal with the classic Fiorentina, roasted meats, game, and aged cheeses, this Riserva reflects the complexity and character of high-altitude Chianti Classico.
