North of Avignon, on the left bank of the Rhône, the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation spans five communes between Orange and Avignon. The landscape is defined by a succession of clay-limestone plateaus, interspersed with the famous rounded stones that help the vines withstand the dryness of the Mediterranean climate and the force of the Mistral wind. It is here, between stone and sun, that Château Cabrières finds its origin.

The grapes are hand-harvested at full ripeness, with three rounds of selective sorting to keep only the finest berries. Yields are limited to 25–30 hl/ha, ensuring concentration and depth.

Vinification is carried out parcel by parcel and grape by grape, with a four-week maceration. After malolactic fermentation, the wines are blended and lightly filtered, then aged for 12 months in Allier oak barrels, balancing richness and finesse.

The blend is composed of: Grenache 50%, Syrah 20%, Mourvèdre 20%, Cinsault 10%

Le Tradition shows a complex, structured palate with ripe red and black fruit, spice, and subtle earthy notes, wrapped in silky tannins and a long, elegant finish. It captures the essence of Châteauneuf-du-Pape terroir while remaining approachable and harmonious.

Food Pairing: Beef daube, Provençal lamb saddle, peppered steak, hare or venison stews, wild mushroom risotto, and aged cheeses.

Serve: 16–18°C
Drink: 2026–2035
