2025 Ochota Barrels 'A Forest' Pinot Noir

'A Forest' is Ochota Barrels’ bright, fragrant expression of Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir: lifted, energetic, and full of movement. It carries the producer’s unmistakable touch — delicate extraction, natural freshness, and a sense of wild aromatic detail without heaviness.

In the glass, it shows a translucent ruby colour. The nose is vivid and perfumed, with red cherry, wild strawberry, redcurrant, crushed petals, forest floor, and a gentle savoury edge. On the palate, it is juicy and finely drawn, with fresh acidity, soft tannins, and a crunchy red-fruited finish that keeps the wine lively and highly drinkable.

A Forest is Pinot Noir in a graceful, light-footed register — aromatic, fresh, and quietly expressive, with enough texture and detail to move beyond simple charm.
