2022 Château Cabrières 'RD68' Côtes-du-Rhône

Nestled near the border of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Château Cabrières’ vineyards covers 2.7 hectares of clay-limestone soils with galets, an ideal terroir for expressive Southern Rhône reds. The RD68 is crafted from grapes harvested by hand at full ripeness, with meticulous selection of each berry to ensure only the finest fruit is used.

Small yield to ensure the right concentration, the 60% grenache and 40% syrah are blended, lightly filtered, and aged for three months in barrels, allowing the terroir and varietal character to shine through.

The RD68 offers a deep, inviting color, a nose of ripe red and black fruits with subtle spice, and a palate that balances structure and elegance, with silky tannins and a persistent, harmonious finish.

Ideal with roasted meats such as beef and lamb, grilled vegetables, and aged cheeses; this Côtes du Rhône embodies both the power and refinement of Southern Rhône terroir.
