Here, Foradori and Marco Devigili take the opposite path. The grapes spend more than 8 months on the skins in tinajas, large clay amphorae that allow a long, slow extraction of colour, tannin and flavour.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis long maceration is essential. The skins of Pinot Grigio are not green, but grey-pink, which is why Fuoripista develops its copper, rose-gold and amber tones. The tinajas help preserve energy and purity while giving the wine shape and texture. They allow the wine to breathe and evolve without the flavour imprint of oak.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn the glass, the 2024 shows a luminous copper-orange colour. The nose is vivid and layered, with crabapple, cranberry, orange peel, rhubarb, wild strawberry, nutmeg and fresh herbs.
