In the glass, it opens with a golden colour. The nose is complex and commanding, with quince, ripe lemon, yellow peach, dried apricot, chamomile, almond, honey, crushed stone and subtle smoky notes. With time, the wine becomes broader and more layered, moving from fruit into wax, spice, herbs and saline mineral depth.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn the palate, it is full-bodied and textural, but not heavy. The richness of the 2015 vintage is held together by firm acidity and a long mineral line. There is ripe orchard fruit, citrus oil, hazelnut, white pepper, dried flowers and a savoury, almost phenolic grip that gives the wine structure and persistence.
